'm a member of that hearing, the health subcommittee. other members and i heard testimony on the obama administration's efforts to protect private citizens' sensitive health care data on the online marketplace. hearing recent concerns that the site would become a central target for these so-called genius hackers and online thieves, we must make protection of personal data one of the top priorities going forward. healthcare.gov's rollout has been completely unacceptable, and we must work to ensure that the site's data security operations aren't fumbled as well as it would be an even bigger disaster for the american people already faced with the other consequences of the law, including higher premiums and the likelihood that they will be unable to see the doctors which they are accustomed, the hospitals which they are accustomed to going to. this disruption is unbelievable, mr. speaker, and it's probably why senator orrin hatch from utah, back when this bill was signed into law by president obama, said in his experience -- and he's got lots of experience. been in both chambers. is the wo

% of the time, but will consumers find that to be true. so much at stake for president obama and millions of americans seeking health insurance. and abc's jon karl has all of the latest from the white house. good morning, jon. >> reporter: the white house is not quite declaring mission accomplished. they say they've finally achieved their first goal, getting the website improved to the point where most people can use it to pick out health insurance. after two months of system crashes and error messages, the white house says healthcare.gov is working for the vast majority of people who try to use it. in a report filled with colorful charts and graphs. the white house uses to measure its success. some 400 software bugs and hardware problems have been fixed. the website can now handle 50,000 users at a time, 800,000 a day. it's now accessible 90% of the time, up from just 40% in october. the man in charge of the website reboot, gave his bottom line in a conference call with reporters. >> healthcare.gov on december 1st is night and day from where it was on october 1st. >> reporter: independen

people seem to like it, so i'm more prone to say, sounds good. young people made obama look better to older voters. the breach on nsa was so significant because it took away, it shattered that confidence that they had. then when you get into the implementation of the health law, which as tucker points out targets those young voters, it takes from them to give to middle-aged people, those voters respect going to like it. and then when it turns out that the president deceived voters during the re-election campaign be, well, that's enough to take breach into riot. martha: one of the things i find really interesting is the issue of jobs and the economy. now, we had a pretty good jobs number that came out this morning, and that is certainly news that the white house should feel good about. but over the past years, every poll we've looked at, you know, what's your most meaningful topic when you look at -- the economy and jobs. and be yet the president has constantly tried to pull everybody toward health care and convince them that also had a huge impact on the economy. i'm not sure peopl
